bank holidays dates uk
student loan dates for summer 2011 (UK answers only)?
I’ve just checked my paperwork to see when I’m due my loan and it says the April 29th which is obviously the royal wedding and therefore a bank holiday, as is the following Monday (May 2nd). Will i have to wait until next Tuesday, May 3rd, for payment? A lot of people have told me the dates have been changed to the 28th because of the wedding. Anyone know anything more about this?
Yeah I am pissed off because I do not get the student loan until the week I have to hand in my FINAL MAJOR PROJECT and I need that money as early as possible so I can spend it on materials to create my final work which is not going to happen now so I may have to extend the deadline at a cost thanks to the delay in the loan payment.
Expect the next loan to come on MAY 3RD. This is due to a late easter holiday this year.
Shame it’s going to be too late for many students. What’s the point in receiving the loan when you’ve just finished.
