Where is “shit lake” in British Columbia near Oliver, BC?

I heard about a place where the French Canadians celebrate the St-Jean Baptiste (Quebec’s Provincial Holiday) in British Columbia. The place is commonly called “shit lake” … but obviously I can’t find it on Google Maps because that’s not the real name of the lake. Does anyone know the exact location of that place ? I’d appreciate a direct link to Google Maps and/or GPS Coordinates. Thank you.

It’s called Sh it lake … sorry, I didn’t know Yahoo was going to censor it. All I know is that it’s in Oliver, BC and there’s a big party there on June 24th. and I don’t wanna miss it.

The only lake in Oliver is Tuc-el-nuit, unless you count Peanut lake by the airport, which is more of a pond.

Probably the party will be at one of the fishing lakes in the hills northwest of Oliver. These include Sawmill Lake, Madden Lake, and Bear Lake, although government maps call it Ripley Lake for some reason. There are a couple of others (Green Lake), but parties tend to happen at Sawmill Lake most, or sometimes Madden.

Sawmill Lake is 49 deg 12 min 30 sec North, and 120 deg 36 min 50 sec West. Madden and Bear are about 2km almost due north of Sawmill.
